The state governor, Alex Otti, announced this in a statement on Tuesday, describing the digitalized tax system as “revolutionary.”

The governor revealed that the new digital tax system will enable government to fuel entrepreneurial growth and progress within the state.

“We envisage this digital platform to not only simplify tax compliance but also unlock substantial revenue for development projects, thereby strengthening our state’s economy,” Otti stated.

According to him, the new digital tax system will also incorporate a free medical insurance scheme for all commercial vehicle operators in the State.
