Hon Uchenna-Erondu stated this yesterday while speaking with LEADERSHIP Sunday in Umuahia, the state capital following the announcement of the result by the examination body.

The lawmaker representing Obingwa West said he is most grateful to God that the youth, who is from his constituency, distinguished himself by coming top on the list of over 1.5 million candidates who sat for the examination.

“Master Ncheta Mbaraonye has made the constituency, the Ngwa nation, the state and the South East zone in general very proud by his excellent performance of scoring A1 in nine subjects,” he said.

The legislator further charged Mbaraonye to sustain the sterling performance through hard-work, focus, and dedication and prayed to God to grant him more wisdom for his future academic pursuits.

He, therefore, urged youths in the state to emulate their 16-year-old counterpart to strive for excellence in their various endeavours, insisting that success is a choice and not a gift.
