Abia Lawmaker Salutes Ikpeazu At 59

The member representing Obingwa West constituency in the Abia State House of Assembly, Erondu Uchenna Erondu, has congratulated a former governor of the state, Okezie Ikpeazu, on his 59th birthday.

Erondu, in a statement by his special assistant on media and publicity,  George Egejuru, described Ikpeazu as a core and tested democrat, scholar in governance and visionary leader whose achievements in office for eight years were legendary.

“You are and have continued to be for us, Your Excellency, we celebrate and thank you today as you mark your 59th birthday.

“Your ascension into the leadership position of the state is nothing short of unrivalled development,” the statement said.

 It commended the former governor for the peace and security that prevailed in the state during his administration and the numerous infrastructure and human capital development projects.

in general,” it added.

The member prayed God to continue to renew Ikpeazu with power and vision and keep him steadily in His love.
