The Board of Trustees (BoT) chairman of the group, Chuks Ibegbu asked the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), security agencies and all other stakeholders to play by the rules, warning “against any act capable of truncating the elections.”

Ibegbu in a statement asked “Abians, Igbos and Nigerians to vote out all their tormentors and oppressors this time and reclaim their state and country.”

He noted that the groups will soon organise political, leadership and good governance summits in Abia, Igbo and Nigeria in conjunction with the Igbo Summit Group and Nigeria Summit Group.

He noted that the civil society and the media will be involved in the programmes.
