In her welcoming address, academy proprietor and director of studies, Motunrayo Komolafe, framed the day as more than a mere contest.
“Today is not just about competition; it is a celebration of excellence, teamwork, resilience, and the all-round development of the child,” Komolafe said.
“At Genius Kids Academy, our vision is clear and unwavering: to raise geniuses. This vision goes beyond academic brilliance. It embraces every sphere of life. We believe that true genius is not only found in the classroom but also on the field, in character, in creativity, and in the courage to strive for greatness.
“Guided by our mission to provide quality care in a secure environment while helping every child discover, maximise, and release their full potential, we have intentionally created platforms like this inter-house sports event to nurture physical strength, mental alertness, discipline, and teamwork in our pupils, because a complete child is a balanced child.
“Today, as our pupils compete, let us remember that beyond winning medals, they are building confidence, learning perseverance, and developing the spirit of healthy competition. These are lifelong skills that will shape their future,” Komolafe concluded.
