In a press statement yesterday, the communications officer, Emmanuel Olonade, said the gathering would bring together grassroots and urban women, policymakers and leaders across diverse sectors to harness the power of collective action in shaping Nigeria’s future.

With the theme “Nigerian Women and The Power of Collective Action”, VOW2025 aims to spotlight the strength of women’s unity in driving transformative policies and sustainable progress.

Building on the success of VOW2024, which focused on women’s inclusion for a sustainable Nigeria, this year’s edition will deepen the discourse by emphasising how collaboration across class, region and sector is critical to lasting impact.

The conference will feature keynote addresses, panel discussions, fireside chats, exhibitions, and networking sessions.

Among the dignitaries and speakers expected at the conference are Vice President Kashim Shettima, former Deputy President of South Africa Phumzile Mlambo-Ngcuka, speaker of the House of Representatives Rt. Hon. Tajudeen Abbas, his deputy Benjamin Kalu, Nigeria’s minister of Women Affairs and Social Development.
