Abuja Newspapers Distributors’ President Reelected

President of Abuja Newspapers Distributors Association (ANDA), Comrade Emmanuel John, was re-elected on Thursday in an election conducted by the groups’s Independent Electoral Commission.

Emmanuel scored 106 votes to defeat his opponent, Femi Emmanuel, who got 60 votes.

The president, in his post-election speech, thanked the distributors for believing in him and renewing his mandate for another two years. He said he would never betray the trust reposed in him, stating that he would continue to work for the good of the association.

He dedicated the victory to God and fellow distributors who made his re-election possible, and extended a hand of fellowship to his opponent.
