Actor and filmmaker Olakunle ‘Abounce’ Fawole has opened up about his relationship with ex-wife, actress Yvonne Jegede, years after their marriage ended.

Speaking during an interview with Chude Jideonwo, Abounce said he no longer has romantic feelings for the actress. However, he stressed that he continues to respect and honour her because she is the mother of their son.

According to him, he would not hesitate to put himself in harm’s way if Yvonne ever needed protection, adding that he would always ensure she was safe because of the bond they share through their child.

Abounce and Yvonne Jegede first met on the set of Tade Ogidan’s drama series ‘Behind the Siege’. After dating for several years, they exchanged vows in a glamorous wedding ceremony in Lagos in February 2018.
