Nollywood actor, Timini Egbuson, has said he is taking a sabbatical from acting next year.
Egbuson revealed this at a recent episode of a podcast hosted by content creator, Kamsi Nnamani. The actor said he has moving from set to set consistently for the past fourteen years, gets only five to six hours of sleep per day and has never had time to relax.
“I only rest when I go out at night. I only sleep five hours to six hours a day. And then keep the work going. But next year, I’m going on a sabbatical. I have been acting for the past fourteen years consistently. There has never been a downtime or a time when I’m just chilling. And I don’t say that with pride, I say that with all humility. It has been God.”
Egbuson stumbled into an acting career by following his sister Dakore Egbuson-Akande to film sets to protect her, but fell in love with the profession over time.
