Nigerian actress, Bolaji Ogunmola, has opened up about the level of support given to actors and movie makers in the Nigerian film industry.
Ogunmola took to her X social media handle to speak on the recent debate about royalties for actors. She encouraged people to invest more in films and to avoid watching Nigerian movies on pirated platforms.
“If you want royalties, back end. Put your money in the film. Negotiate a slashed fee or nothing at all for a percentage. Put body joor,” she encouraged, adding that actors ought to enjoy the benefit of their hard labour.
The ‘Beautiful Sin,’ actress further adds that, “You can’t want lifetime royalties for actors and still be watching their film on pirated platforms now!!!! Ejoor now!!!! Please….. help us. Moviebox / Telegram is not the place to watch Nigerian content. Help us,” she stated.
