Nollywood actress Sarah Martins has spoken up on behalf of her colleague, Yul Edochie, following the just-concluded Africa Magic Viewers’ Choice Awards.

Addressing the prestigious award ceremony held over the weekend, Sarah Martins acknowledged that, despite their personal differences, the actor remains one of the industry’s finest talents and deserves recognition for his craft.

Calling on the organisers to do better, the actress congratulated all the winners while insisting that Yul Edochie merits an award.

“Hate aside,
Yul Edochie is a fantastic actor, and he deserves a win.
AMVCA, you people can do better.
Congratulations to all the amazing winners tho.
No hate zone,” she wrote.

Her statement comes not long after Yul Edochie boldly declared himself the best actor in Nigeria and Africa.
