Actress Sharon Stone Diagnosed with Fibroid Tumor

American actress Sharon Stone said she has been diagnosed with fibroid tumour. Stone made the announcement via her social media handle where she revealed she had had a misdiagnosis that led to er undergoing an unnecessary double epidural surgery.

However, when the pains worsened post the surgery, she sought a second opinion only to discover she had a large fibroid tumour that must be removed.
Stone says she requires about four to six weeks period of recovery.

Despite the sad news, she took the time encourage others, particularly women to go for a second opinion rather than stay in doubt or uncertainty.
“Don’t get blown off. Get a second opinion. It can save your life.
