The legislation entitled “a bill for a law to provide for the establishment of the Adamawa State Anti Corruption Commission”, was sponsored by Hon. Abubakar Isa (Shelleng constituency).

The passage followed the consideration and adoption of the report of the Committee on Judiciary and Entrepreneurship Development headed by the Deputy Speaker, Hon. Pwamwakeno Mackondo (Numan), last week.

It was enacted sequel to a motion to that effect by the Majority Leader and Minority Leader, Hon. Japhet Kefas (Gombi) and Hon. Muhammed Mutawali (Girei) respectively.
