Also inaugurated at the party’s state secretariat were the 27 LGA chairmen in the state.
Performing the ceremony, the national chairman of ADC, Chief (Dr) Ralph Okey Nwosu stressed that partisanship requires much sacrifices on the side of members.

He said the party in the state is growing from strength to strength under the strong hold of Chief Dr. Emmanuel Amushie, the state party Chairman and the National Vice Chairman of the party, Comrade Chilos Godsent.

He described members of the party as ever committed to drive the party vehicle to victory come 2027 elections, urged them to maintain the unity of oneness.
To the new state executives, he said the growth of the party is dependent on their ability to cooperate and co-inhabit, tracing witch-hunting and other vices as quick means of bringing a party down and inactive.

“Our party parades men and women of substance who have the capability and capacity to wrestle power from the ruling APC come 2027 elections.

“I urge you all to continue to work hard for our party and in one spirit with the hope that the party is coasting home to victory in the next election.”

The national vice chairman of the party, Southeast, Comrade Chilos Godsent, advocated for more passion among members of the party, expressing high optimism that ADC will, in the not too distant future, be the leading party in Imo state and Nigeria at large.

Comrade Chilos, while congratulating the new state executives, urged them to be resolute and committed in the realization of the party’s set goals.

He boasted that the party remains the only party that can solve the security problems in the state because, according to him, its members have been able to study the leadership lapses of past and present governments and why they have failed to provide the dividends of democracy to all and sundry.

Dr Emmanuel Amushie, the Imo state ADC acting chairman, while speaking, said the party in the state is poised to take over power from the ruling APC.

Dr Amushie who was inaugurated alongside the deputy state Chairman, Hon. Chidi Carlso Amadi, the state Secretary, Hon. Engr. Charles Okoro, the Financial Secretary, Lolo Ijeoma Egocha, the state Woman Leader, Lolo Amaka Chiegene, other state executive members and the 27 LGA chairmen, assured the party of their renewed spirit and unity to achieving their targets.

He thanked the National Working Committee of the party for being supportive of the state leadership, promising to reciprocate the gesture by making the party grow strongly in the state to becoming the second or third force party after the ruling APC.
