Adebayo’s Wife Hails Husband’s Dedication To SDP, Dismisses Party Switch

Mrs Lilian Adebayo, wife of the former presidential candidate, Social Democratic Party (SDP), Prince Adewole Adebayo, has expressed confidence in her husband’s commitment to the party.

Mrs Adebayo, during a press conference in Abuja, stated that her husband has been a member since he was 19 years old and has never wavered in his allegiance.

She also noted the party’s ability to resolve internal conflicts and emphasised that her husband has no intention of leaving SDP for another party.

Mrs. Adebayo addressed her husband’s chances of clinching the presidential ticket and winning the 2027 presidential election.

She criticised the current sitting president and urged Nigerians to vote for a candidate who can move the country forward.

Advocating for more opportunities for women in national leadership roles, citing their kind-hearted nature and emotional intelligence as qualities that could benefit the nation.

She expressed her willingness to support female candidates and disputed claims that women do not support each other in politics. She asserted that women would stand together if given the opportunity to do so without interference from men.

Adebayo reiterated her belief that her husband could defeat a sitting president if Nigerians were honest with themselves and voted for the candidate who could bring about positive change for the country.

 

She emphasised the importance of truthfulness in the upcoming election and expressed confidence in her husband’s leadership capabilities.
