He reiterated his vow to deepen the service relationship with the people of the state.

The governor, who spoke yesterday at Ila Orangun and Ikirun at the flag-off of the dualisation of Ila Orangun Township and the second phase of Osogbo-Ikirun-Kwara Boundary Roads, respectively, said he is committed to delivering on his five-point agenda and other electoral promises.

Adeleke said his administration had completed the reconstruction, rehabilitation, and renovation of over 200 kilometres of roads so far, while several dualisation and flyover projects were at various stages of completion.

In Ila Orangun, Adeleke said: “My dear people of the State, while the first phase of the infrastructure projects is being successfully executed, today we are announcing the take-off of the dualization of the 1st phase of 3.5Km length of Ila Township Road, and this project will be delivered in 10 months by the grace of God.

“The Ilesa dualization project is 78 per cent completed; the Ile-Ife flyover project is 75 per cent completed; the Oke-Fia flyover is over 95 per cent done, while the LAMECO flyover is about 55 per cent executed.

Similarly,  at Ikirun, the governor said, “I believed that the completion of the dualization of Osogbo – Ikirun – Inisha – Okuku – Ijabe and finally Ila Odo, which is the boundary town with our neighbouring Kwara State, a total length of 39km, is of paramount importance to this administration, and I am committed to the completion of this project by the grace of God”.

He disclosed that the second phase, which was flagged off, is almost the same length as what was completed in 12 years, adding that by the grace of God, he intends to deliver the project within 12 months.
