Nigerian actress and entrepreneur, Adesua Etomi-Wellington, has revealed that she once prayed against marrying a politician, musician, or pastor, only to end up with someone who is all three in one.

In a recent interview with her husband, Olubankole Wellington, known as ‘Banky W’, on The Teju Babyface Show, she said, “I told God I didn’t want to marry a musician, politician, or pastor, and God gave me all three.”

Her remarks quickly gained attention on social media, with fans reacting to the irony in humorous ways.

Over the years, Adesua and Banky W have remained one of the most talked-about celebrity couples in Nigeria, from their high-profile wedding to their public interest in career, family life, and public appearances.

The discussion has also highlighted how public interest in celebrity marriages continues to shape conversations around relationships, destiny, and personal expectations within the entertainment industry.q
