Adhere Strictly To Rules Of Engagement, Police Commissioner Tells Cadets

Ekiti State Commissioner of Police, Mr Joseph Eribo, has advised the 31 newly passed-out Assistant Superintendent of Police (ASP) Cadets Officers posted to the Command to strictly adhere to the rules of engagement while discharging their statutory duties.

Eribo gave the advice when he officially received the officers, who are of the 7th Regular Course from the Nigeria Police Academy, Wudil, Kano, following their presidential commissioning.

Addressing the Officers, the CP charged them to uphold discipline, professionalism, integrity, fairness, respect for the rights of citizens.

The police boss added that they must be dedicated to the job, shun all forms of corrupt practices, while prioritizing the security of lives and properties of all citizens and residents of the state.

He appreciated the Inspector General of Police, Mr Kayode Adeolu  Egbetokun,  for the additional manpower, saying this will go a long way to strengthen the Command’s capacity operationally and otherwise.
