A real estate company, Adron Homes and Properties has partnered the Nigerian Police Force(NPF) by bringing police closer to the residents of the Shimawa community in Ogun State.

This, according to the company, was to safeguard lives and public investment within the host community.

The real estate firm donated an ultramodern Police station and police barracks to give Shimawa and its surrounding community a strong security presence through protection of  lives and investment.

Adron Homes properties has consistently demonstrated its corporate social responsibility to the welfare of the communities in which they operate by starting new development initiatives to deliver cutting edge smart police stations and quarters for officers.

Shimawa has once more benefited from the CSR project of Adron Homes and Properties.

Speaking on the sidelines of the project commisioning, the Inspector General of Police(IGP), Alhaji Usman Baba Alkali, unveiled the ultramodern police station on Tuesday, along with a newly built eight-bedroom apartments for the Police Barrack in Shimawa, Obafemi Owode local government area of Ogun state.

The IGP, who was represented by assistant Inspector General of Police for Zone 2, Mr. Bode Adeyinka Adeleke, advised the community to treat the recently given cutting-edge station as their project and to take care of it as such.

Governor of Ogun state, Prince Dapo Abiodun, who was ably represented by the executive secretary of the Ogun State Security Trust Fund, Adeola Sonsanwo, commended Adron Homes and Properties for their goodwill while he assured the community of government intervention, particularly, given the dire need for urgent repairs of their road.

Commissioner of Police for Ogun State, Lanre Bankole stated that the station can safely be considered one of the best in the nation at the present while affirming that the Nigerian police’s commitment would continue to foster an enabling environment for Nigerians by safeguarding lives and property, adding that, residents of Shimawa may now go to sleep soundly.
