The Abuja Electricity Distribution Company (AEDC) has announced the restoration of power supply across parts of its franchise area following the repair of a vandalised gas pipeline that had disrupted electricity generation nationwide.
In a statement issued on Saturday, AEDC said gas supply to generating companies has been fully restored, leading to improved energy availability on the national grid and increased power allocation to its network.
The company confirmed that electricity supply was being progressively restored to affected areas, assuring customers of its commitment to a stable and reliable power supply, particularly during the Yuletide season.
AEDC apologised to customers for the inconvenience caused by the outage and urged those still experiencing power disruptions to contact the company through its official channels for prompt resolution.
Customers can reach AEDC via its call centre on 08039070070 or through WhatsApp on 08152141414 and 08152151515 for updates and inquiries.
