AFCON 2025: Aina Ruled Out Of Rwanda Match

Nottingham Forest defender Ola Aina has been ruled of Nigeria’s 2025 Africa Cup of Nations qualifying matchday six encounter against Rwanda.

Aina was released to return to his club following Nigeria’s 1-1 draw against the Cheetahs of Benin Republic on Thursday.

The full-back sustained a minor injury against Gernot Rohr’s men.

The 27-year-old started the game and was replaced by Bright Osayi-Samuel seven minutes from time.

The Super Eagles will host the Amavubi at the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium, Uyo on Monday.
