The incident was confirmed by Mustafa Hashemi, the director of information and culture of Baghlan province.

The victims of the accident included 12 men, two women, and three children, highlighting the severe impact on families and the local community. The crash underscored the perilous state of Afghanistan’s roadways, which suffered from decades of neglect and conflict.

Traffic accidents are a frequent occurrence in Afghanistan, attributed to poor road conditions, reckless driving, and inadequate regulatory measures.
