Africa’s biggest climate conversation, the Africa Climate Forum (ACF), will return to Abuja this month as leaders, investors and innovators gather to find real solutions for the continent’s green transition.

The director general, Global Centre for Law Business and Economy (GCLBE), Prof. George Nwangwu, who revealed this in a statement yesterday in Abuja, also said the ACF 2025 slated for October 14 and 15 at the Yar’Adua Centre is expected to bring together governments, businesses as well as financial institutions and civil society to discuss how Africa can build a cleaner, fairer and more resilient future.

Prof. Nwangwu noted that in its third year, the forum, organised by the GCLBE, had become a key space for turning climate ideas into action.

He said this year’s theme, “Bolder, Greener and Better Steps: Closing Transition Gaps in Africa,” focuses on one goal: helping African countries move from talk to tangible results.

The director general said although Africa had made progress in renewable energy and climate policy, significant gaps remained, particularly in funding, technology and capacity. He explained that the ACF 2025 would focus on how to close these gaps by linking local priorities with global opportunities for finance, innovation and trade.
