“I’m really pleased with what I saw in training today, they look ready however, they’re still room for improvement”.
“I’ve always said that athletes are as good as their training and I must applaud the officials who are working tirelessly to ensure the athletes represent the Nation optimally”.
Also, the head of the team officials, coach Akuh Purity expressed satisfaction with the reaction of the Wrestlers to training so far since they started camping ahead of the African Games.

According to the level 3 IOC coach the camping has aided the coaching team to closely monitor the athletes especially their diet other important elements pivotal to their overall athletism.
“To be frank the Nigeria Wrestling Federation doesn’t wait for camp like this, we’ve been training because we started our season a while ago so this camping is just for final preparation”.
