Sabon Wuse is about three kilometres from Dikko Junction, where the last tanker explosion occurred. The latest explosion occurred when the product was being offloaded.

While confirming the explosion, the Director General of Niger State Emergency Management Agency (NSEMA), Abdullahi Baba Arah, said:
“one Tasiu Gas Plant, beside Kalasma Filling Station, Sabon Wuse, along Kaduna Expressway, got exploded and busted into fire.”

He, however, said no life was lost in the incident, which destroyed vehicles and shops nearby.
