The Board announced this in post on its X handle (formerly Twitter) on Thursday.

It said, “Direct Entry registration would not be closing today. The Board is aware of the fact that all through the UTME exercise its offices were closed for DE registration.

“As such it would avail candidates the opportunity to utilise those lost days.”

JAMB had announced the commencement of the registration of the 2024 Direct Entry from February 28 to March 28.

The Board thereafter extended the exercise by two weeks, bringing the closing date for the registration to April 11, due to some factors.

However, the Board did not announce a new date for the end of the registration, but it is hoped that the new date for the deadline would be communicated soon.
