Literature lovers and fans of mystery writer, Agatha Christie will be happy to know that a film adaptation of her novel, Hallowe’en Party, will hit the cinemas on September 15, 2023.

A Haunting In Venice, stars a diverse, talented cast – including Kenneth Branagh, Tina Fey, and yes, Michelle Yeoh.

Set in the eerie, post-World War II Venice on All Hallows’ Eve, Christie’s series popular, sleuth protagonist Hercule Poirot played by Branagh, comes out of self-imposed exile, on account of his longtime friend Ariadne Oliver (Fey), to attend a séance held by psychic, Joyce Reynolds (Yeoh) at a decaying, haunted palazzo. When one of the guests is murdered, the detective is thrust into a sinister world of shadows and secrets.

Directed by and starring British actor, Kenneth Branagh, with whom one can never go wrong with regards to classic literature to film adaptations, it is produced Branagh, Judy Hofflund, Ridley Scott and Simon Kinberg, with Louise Killin, James Prichard and Mark Gordon as executive producers, and screenplay by Oscar nominated Michael Green (Logan).
