“The late Sir Ahmadu Bello will always be remembered for his tireless efforts to make northern Nigeria economically competitive, politically thriving, religiously stable, peaceful and united. 57 years after his demise, his name and legacies still educe memories and his image still looms larger than life not only in the North but across the country. Indeed the late premier was a pacesetter in almost all facets of modern developments in the North.

“The late premier’s leadership qualities greatly added value to the development of the region and its people of diverse ethnic backgrounds. The Sardauna and his compatriots will continually be remembered by generations of Nigerians because of the selfless service they rendered to the northern region and the country as a whole.”

“It is with greater honor that the Sir Ahmadu Bello Memorial Foundation (SABMF) celebrates this historic day considering how the foundation evolved, deriving its name from the late sage of blessed memory.
