As rapid technological advancement, artificial intelligence is emerging as a game-changer for the digital landscape, an entrepreneur and leading industry expert in tech and design, Najeeb Abubakar has given valuable insights into how Artificial Intelligence are poised to revolutionize user experience for digital products.

Abubakar in an interview said through AI’s capabilities, startup and businesses can now unlock a lot of opportunities to enhance user experiences and drive customer satisfaction which will lead to product growth and customer acquisition in the eco system.
While highlighting several ways in which AI integrations enhance user experience, he said; “One of the most significant impacts of AI is improved personalization. With AI, digital products can dynamically adapt to individual user preferences, offering personalized recommendations, content, and services. This level of customization creates a more engaging and relevant user experience. AI has the ability to adapt to the frequent features used by a user and then customise experience based on this.”
Explaining further on how AI empowers digital products to provide seamless and intuitive interactions, he said; “Through natural language processing, chatbots, and voice assistants, AI enables more natural and conversational interactions between users and digital interfaces.
“This does not only enhances convenience but also allows for more efficient and effective completion of tasks. I mean we can see the likes of “Midjourney” used to create images just by explaining the kind of image idea you have in your head and it helps you generate the picture . And also the use of Chatgpt making information search and content generation much more easier for people.”
On the role of AI in automating repetitive and mundane tasks, Najeeb maintained that, “AI-powered automation can offload routine tasks, faster execution, freeing up users’ time and increasing mental energy. This allows users to focus on higher-value activities and ultimately leads to a more satisfying experience.”
The tech expert, however, acknowledged the importance of responsible AI implementation especially for new startups.
He said, “As we embrace AI’s potential, it’s crucial to ensure ethical use and transparency. “User trust is paramount, and organizations must be transparent about how AI is being used, protect user data privacy, and address any biases or ethical concerns that may arise. Reason why I am pointing this is out is because when we imagine the level of advancement of AI in the next couple of years then I am sure it will be difficult to differentiate the things done by AI and a real person.”
Looking to the future, Abubakar predicts exciting advancements in AI-driven user experiences.
“We can expect even more natural and intuitive interfaces, advanced personalization, and predictive capabilities. It will also serve as a great benefit for users in Nigeria because AI-powered technologies can improve accessibility for individuals with disabilities. For instance, AI-based voice assistants can assist visually impaired users in interacting with digital products, while text-to-speech and speech-to-text capabilities can enhance communication for individuals with hearing impairments.
“As AI continues to evolve, digital products will become smarter, seamlessly integrating into users’ lives and delivering exceptional experiences, which converts to product growth because of the seamless user experience.”
He further explained on the advantage of accessibility in User experience when it comes to AI.
“Integrating AI technology in digital products will also allow older people or physically challenged people use product without any hassle which removes the limitation of age and accessibility when using digital products. An example is Using AI voice control to navigate through the entire function of a digital device which is already existing and being improved like Siri, Alexa, Google voice assistant.”
