Echeng gave the charge when he decorated the chairman of PCRC Zone 9, Dr Collins Obi.

The police boss said the partnership with PCRC had yielded positive results in combating crimes in the country but regretted that the dynamics of crimes today have gone nuclear.
Echeng commended Obi for his numerous contributions towards the growth of PCRC in Abia command and Zone 9 adding that his integrity, passion and zeal for the Police were legendary.

He said, “because the dynamics of criminality have changed, crime control is now dependent on community policing, intelligence gathering and collaboration which the Zone 9 PCRC has effectively provided.”

Echeng assured of continued support to safety of lives and properties, and to the new PCRC team, and expressed gratitude to Obi for helping the Police achieve positive results in crime control.
