Nigeria’s airline, Air Peace, has solidified its position as a leader in African aviation by securing its 6th IATA Operational Safety Audit (IOSA) certification.

The achievement underscores the airline’s commitment to safety, operational excellence, and global aviation standards.

The IOSA certification, an internationally recognised safety benchmark by the International Air Transport Association (IATA), is awarded to airlines that meet stringent safety and operational protocols. By achieving this milestone for the sixth time, Air Peace has raised the bar for safety in African aviation, setting an example for other airlines on the continent.

This historic accomplishment has sparked nationwide applause, with Nigerians praising the airline for prioritising passenger safety and operational reliability. Many see this as a testament to Air Peace’s dedication to maintaining global best practices while positioning Nigeria as a key player in the global aviation industry.

Chairman and CEO of Air Peace, Allen Onyema, expressed his gratitude for the recognition, saying, “This achievement reflects our unwavering commitment to safety and operational excellence. It is our mission to not only connect Africa but to do so while upholding the highest standards in aviation.”
