“This is particularly fulfilling for me, as it marks the second instance on record in our administration that appointment to the Bench of the State Judiciary would be carried out in large numbers.

“These appointees have distinguished themselves in the practice of law and administration of justice in our dear state,” the Governor remarked.

Governor Aiyedatiwa also acknowledged the efforts of the Chief Judge of Ondo State, Hon. Justice Segun Aiyedun Odusola, for his leadership in ensuring a significant increase in the number of judges, thereby reducing the courts’ workload.

He thanked the National Judicial Council and the newly appointed Chief Justice of Nigeria, Hon. Justice Kudirat Kekere-Ekun, for facilitating the appointments.

Earlier in his remarks, the Attorney General and Commissioner for Justice of Ondo State, Dr Olukayode Ajulo, SAN, highlighted the governor’s deep respect for the judiciary and his strong commitment to upholding the rule of law.

He further noted that through his policies and actions, the governor has consistently demonstrated his dedication to ensuring the judiciary is well-resourced for effective justice delivery.
