The member representing Ajaokuta Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives, Hon. Sanni Egidi Abdulraheem, has launched an empowerment initiative, distributed relief materials and inspected ongoing development projects in his constituency.

The three-day empowerment programme began with the flag-off of a Mega Empowerment Programme designed to support youths, women, farmers, traders, persons with disabilities, and the elderly.

The initiative featured ICT training and start-up grants for young people, business tools for market women, and financial support for vulnerable households.

Farm inputs, motorcycles, tricycles, and deep freezers were also distributed to stimulate agricultural productivity, enhance transportation, and promote small-scale enterprise.
In addition, the lawmaker introduced a ₦10,000 monthly stipend scheme for 200 elderly constituents.

Describing the empowerment scheme as “a defining moment towards economic emancipation,” Hon. Abdulraheem said the items distributed are “seeds of prosperity” aimed at encouraging self-reliance.
