Ajayi Varsity Committed To Full Digital Transformation –VC

Vice chancellor of Ajayi Crowther University, Prof Timothy Adebayo, has expressed the institution’s commitment to full digital transformation with focus on robust internet connectivity.

In his address at the institution’s 16th convocation ceremony, Adebayo disclosed the move as a revolution that would ensure that ACU remains competitive on a global stage, transforming its campus into a vibrant, modern digital landscape.

According to him, some of the council’s commitments are fostering an inclusive and welcoming university environment, attracting endowments for professorial chairs and securing grants to support research and scholarship.

He said the new senate building being built by the Pro-Chancellor and chairman of the university’s governing council, Dr Olutoyin Okeowo, would add elegance and class to the architectural landscape of the university when completed.

He commended Okeowo for his commitment to the development of the university.

A total of 1,934 graduands were awarded first degree certificates, with 86 of them finishing in the first class category.
