Information Technology and cloud security expert Samad Akanbi Toyin has been honoured with the Outstanding Award of Excellence in Technology Innovation of the Year at the 10th African Icon Awards, held at the Nicon Luxury Hotel, Abuja.

The African Icon Awards celebrates exceptional changemakers driving progress across the continent. Amb. Abraham Lawal, Project Director, commended Akanbi’s pioneering work, saying he “exemplifies the spirit of leadership and innovation that this award seeks to celebrate.”

Certified in cybersecurity by the International Information System Security Consortium (ISC)², as well as AWS, Microsoft, and Cisco, Akanbi is a member of several international engineering and computing bodies.
