Expressing pain and sadness over the demise of the Ondo governor, Ndoma-Egba, a close friend of the deceased,
The ex-Senate Leader further described the late governor as a strong advocate for constitutionalism, truth and justice, who contributed in no small measure to the entrenchment and sustenance of democracy and the growth of the legal profession in Nigeria.
He said Akeredolu would be greatly missed for his service to humanity, positive impacts in Ondo State and Nigeria at large.
Ndoma-Egba’s condolence message reads: “Humanity lost a humanist, Nigeria lost a patriot, Ondo State lost a leader, the family its pillar, and I, a dependable friend. He was vocal, held strong views and believed in his country. He was a crusader for constitutionalism, truth and justice. He has earned his place in Heaven. I pray that his life and memory console his family.”
