The Oyachaba K’Idoma, Dr Dickson Akoh, has extended his heart-warming congratulations to the Governor of Benue State, Rev. Fr. Hyacinth Alia on his 58th birthday anniversary.
Akoh described the governor as an empathetic leader with good intentions for the development of Benue State. He said this is evidenced in his distinct leadership approach since his inception of office barely one year ago.

“The developmental strides of his excellency which are anchored on his seven-point agenda are crystal clear across all sectors and spheres of human endeavour in the state. The efforts to bridge infrastructural gaps in Benue through the massive construction of township and rural roads are commendable. Recently, Makurdi metropolis has worn a new look of a truly urban city.

“Governor Alia has shown to be a prudent manager of scarce resources, driven by how judicious his excellency has managed public funds since his inception as governor. This has translated to prompt payment of workers’ salary and pension, gratuity including arrears.

“The all-encompassing transformation and reshaping of the health and educational sectors and the massive human capital development of indigent Benue youth through opening up industries is very laudable. The efforts in strengthening the security of lives and properties have yielded positive outcomes,” Akoh said.
