Akwa Ibom Rep Member Buries Wife August 4

Former state chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and present member of the House of Representatives representing  Etinan/Nsit Ibom/Nsit Ubium Federal Constituency, Obong Paul Ekpo, will bid a final farewell to his wife, Deaconess Vivian Paul Ekpo, nee Akenge on Friday, August 4, 2023.

The late deaconess Vivian Paul Ekpo passed on at the National Hospital, Abuja on April 29, 2023 at the age of 55.

Until her death, she was an assistant registrar with the National Open University of Nigeria, Uyo. She also served meritoriously for many years at the defunct Nigeria Telecommunications (NITEL) and the Federal Character Commission, Abuja.

The service of songs will be held on Thursday, August 3 at her residence in Uyo, while a service of songs preceding the Uyo event will be held in her honor in Abuja at the Fine World Recreational Park, opposite Shoprite/Shafa Filling Station on July 27 at 5pm.

The funeral service by Winners Chapel Church will hold at the Comprehensive Secondary School, Nkana Iman, Etinan by 10.a.m. prompt, while the internment takes place immediately after the church service at the Family House in Nkana Iman.
