The management of Al-Muhibbah Open University, Abuja, has announced a collaboration with Apex Education Services, United Kingdom (UK), to ensure academic excellence.
The vice chancellor of the university, Professor Ahmad Salisu Garba, made this known in a press statement issued to journalists in Bauchi yesterday.
He pointed out that the collaboration is a big step forward in Al-Muhibbah’s mission to serve a broad community of foreign students by offering top-notch education and facilitating access to higher education.
Prof. Garba said that the collaboration is under the guidance of Dr Hatem H. Garamoun at Apex Education Services, with the support of Repotic Consultancy Limited, a Nigerian company.
According to the VC, with the collaboration, Al-Muhibbah Open University, Abuja is now ready to welcome students from all over the world into its 14 NUC-approved degree programmes.
He explained that the 14 NUC approved degree programmes are offered in the prestigious Faculties of Social and Management Sciences, Computing, and Allied Health Sciences.
The vice chancellor maintained that, with the collaboration, Nigerians would have access to many global viewpoints and learning opportunities within the country.
Prof Garba, who expressed delight at the new development, added that Al-Muhibbah Open University is ready to welcome deserving applicants from around the globe and ensure a positive, successful academic experience.
He assured that Al-Muhibbah Open University, Abuja, is dedicated to establishing a rich, welcoming, and encouraging learning environment that supports each student’s academic and personal development.
While encouraging people to join the university on what he described as a “thrilling journey toward academic success”, the VC stressed that Al-Muhibbah Open University in Abuja is the ideal location for achieving goals.
He further noted that Al-Muhibbah, as a dynamic academic community, is committed to educating the next generation of world leaders propelled by innovation backed by global collaborations.
The vice-chancellor, who advised prospective students to apply for admission into the university to discover their future, said at Al-Muhibbah Open University Abuja that knowledge knows no borders.
