“Our foresight and commitment to securing a better future for our members and our collective efforts to push for improvements within the association will require continuous support from each of you,” Garba promised.

He commended His Royal Highness, Maigari of Lokoja, Alhaji Ibrahim Gambo Kabir Maikarfi 1V, for his fatherly role and promised to justify the confidence he had placed in him.

In his remarks, Alhaji Sani Hassan, who came a distant second, called on both the winners and losers of the election to work together for the betterment of the association. “This is one family. We are all brothers here.”

He appreciated the electoral committee, INEC, and security for ensuring the conduct of a free, fair, and credible election.
