Almond Awards To Revolutionise Insurance Landscape

Almond Insurance Industry Awards is expected to promote ethics and professionalism by recognising those who are revolutionising insurance business in the country, says, the chief executive officer(CEO), Almond Productions Limited, Ms. Faith Ughwode.

Almond Productions Limited is the organiser of the Annual Awards and its set to host the 2024 Edition aptly tagged #Reinvent.

Ughwode said the awards has improved on an annual basis in the last six years, saying that the current one has the highest nominations from the operators, ensuring public and relevant stakeholders.

This, she expects, will lead to a healthy competition among operators that will definitely lead to improved service delivery from underwriting firms in the country.

The Annual Awards which was instituted in 2018 to reward the Change Makers, Innovators and Thought leaders who are making a difference in the various arms of the Nigerian Insurance Industry, is scheduled to hold on Friday, November 1st 2024, in Victoria Island, Lagos.

The statement added that, guest presenters this year are: Vice Chancellor, Ajayi Crowther University, Prof. Timothy Abiodun Adebayo; president of the West African Insurance Companies Association (WAICA), Jarju Bubacarr; Jean Chiazor Anishere SAN; chairman, DavoDani Microfinance Bank, Prince Austin Enajemo-Isire and a host of other dignitaries from other key sectors of the economy.

The shortlisted Award categories this year are: Life Insurance Company of the year! General Insurance Company of the year, Insurance CEO of the year! Insurance Broker of the year! Insurance Broking Company of the year, Takaful Insurance Company of the year! Micro Insurance Company of the year, Insurance Woman of the year, Most valuable Insurance Customer of the year! Insurance Life Achiever’s Award (Insurer or Broker) and Special Recognition Award 2024.
