ALP Group Partners Namibia’s Shimaneni On Legal Practice

ALP International Practice Group has entered into a partnership with Shimaneni & Company Incorporated as part of the efforts of the company to consolidating the Group’s presence in Southern Africa.

The ALP International Practice Group comprise ALP NG & Co. (Nigeria), ALP Professional Services Limited (Nigeria), ALP East Africa (Kenya, Uganda, South Sudan, and Tanzania), and Africa Legal Associates (ALA Ghana).

In a statement, the company said Shimaneni & Company Incorporated, renowned for its strong domestic market expertise and commitment to excellence, shares the ALP Group’s vision of delivering innovative and comprehensive legal and professional services across Africa.

“In the alliance agreement signed on December 15, 2024, the partners emphasised their shared goals of collaboration, capacity building, and knowledge sharing to provide cost-effective, client-focused solutions across the continent and beyond.

Both parties reiterated their commitment to advancing the goals of the African Continental Free Trade Area Agreement (AfCFTA) and creating a seamless, continent-wide platform for legal and professional services. A joint communiqué stated, “This alliance represents our mutual ambition to connect African markets and deliver world-class professional services that address the needs of a globally integrated economy.”

“As part of this partnership, Shimaneni & Company Incorporated will operate and be recognised as ‘Africa Law Practice, Namibia,’ a member of the ALP International Practice Group. The alliance strengthens the group’s ability to serve African and global clients, enhancing its reputation as a premier provider of Pan-African legal and professional services,’’ the statement said.
