The visit, led by AMF chairman and founder, Abdullahi Mahmood, aimed to present the foundation’s activities and explore possible collaborations with the state government.

During the presentation, Mahmood detailed AMF’s programmes from 2023 to 2025, highlighting initiatives focused on community development, education, healthcare, and youth empowerment. According to the statement, the foundation has made a significant impact by organising two editions of football tournaments to promote unity among youths, sponsoring numerous surgeries and medical treatments for the less-privileged, hosting two Qur’anic Recitation Competitions and a Children’s Day event in 2024.

Other contributions to society included donation of hundreds of boxes of chalk to schools and supporting a school feeding programme, conducting a drug abuse awareness campaign across 35 secondary schools in Mallam-Madori local government area of the State, renovating and building mosques, repairing boreholes, and running a Ramadan feeding program, and providing cash empowerment programs for women and youths to support small businesses.

In his address, Abdullahi Mahmood congratulated Governor Namadi on his successful implementation of the state’s 12-point agenda, which he said had improved the welfare and well-being of Jigawa’s people. He praised the administration for putting Jigawa on both the national and global map through its development strides.

He acknowledged the foundation’s role in improving the lives of the less privileged and assured government support for future collaborations.
