Ahead of the 66th Academy Grammy Awards, which will take place on Sunday, February 4, at Crypto Com Arena in Los Angeles, the UnitedMasters music platform will be hosting a Grammy weekend.
Davido’s headlining Grammy weekend, is coming amid his scandal with Tiwa Savãge, whose baby daddy, Tee Billz called Davido out for disrespecting his family, noting how he, Tiwa, and their son, Jamil have shown Davido’s daughter, Imade, love, yet the singer had disrespected them.

Threatening the singer further, he vowed to spill teas about the ongoing rift after the Grammys. In another post, he shared one of his chats with the singer, where he accused him of being a deadbeat father and vindicated Sophia Momodu. Calling for transparency, Tee Billz, vowed to expose the truth about Sophia’s stance on their daughter’s visitation and threw shade at the singer for his lack of sense and Yes men around him.
Heightening the saga, Tiwa filed a petition against Davido, as she revealed how an Instagram story post with Sophia Momodu, led to Davido hurling insults at her and threatening her, and she retaliated by cutting off ties with him.

Sophia, his baby mama, had also filed a ‘cease and desist’ letter, alleging that he had been bullying and harassing her on social media.

Nigerian singer, Davido, will be performing alongside Dominican rapper, Tokischa and South Africa-based DJ Artist, Uncle Waffles. The concert will take place at the Hollywood Palladium on Friday, February 2, 2024.
Last year’s event drew in over 2,500 fans and had in attendance Jay Z and Beyonce, Nas, DJ Khaled, Wiz Khalifa, Future, Damson Idris and others.

Since the release of his comeback album, Timeless, Davido has been soaring high as his album now has over a billion streams.

His new album had brought the singer more recognition and had made him a Grammy nominee. Timeless bagged 3 nominations for Best Album of the Year, Song of the Year, and Best Global Music Album at the 2024 Grammy.

Speaking on his nomination, Davido affirmed that delay isn’t denial, especially since his contemporaries, Burna Boy and Wizkid have been recognised by the academy.

In October, Davido was honoured by Atlanta and Georgia with a ‘Day’ dedicated to praising him. Atlanta had officially declared November 18, 2023, as Davido’s Day, while Fulton County, Georgia has declared November 21, 2023 as Davido Appreciation Day.

Also, Davido was recognized as an “Outstanding Georgia citizen by the Georgia State of Assembly.
