An Onitsha, Anambra State -based Prophet Chukwuemeka Cyril Odumeje has debunked rumour that he said he would die soon.
When contacted on his mobile phone, one of his aides who picked the call and introduced herself as Amaka Okoye said that the prophet did not make such a statement.
She described such news as “not true”.
Okoye said “It is not true (that prophet Odumeje said during Church service last Sunday that he will die soon).
“You know that some people when they want to destroy someone’s image, they will write something with your name and put it in a YouTube and say that you said it “, Okoye stated further.
She said that the prophet never instructed his son, David to take care of his house and that he will die soon.
Meanwhile, some online platforms had reported that Prophet Odumeje during last Sunday service declared to his followers that he will soon end his sojourn on this earth, and that he instructed his son, David to take care of his family and other affairs here on earth.
