Anambra Mother Confesses To Earning $700 From Online Sale Of Daughter’s Explicit Media

The Anambra State Police Command has confirmed that 36-year-old Anulika Onyeanusia confessed to making $700 from sharing explicit videos involving her eight-year-old daughter with a foreign contact online.

During police interrogation in Onitsha, the suspect admitted to transmitting the explicit content via WhatsApp to a foreign buyer. She disclosed receiving payments ranging from $300 to $400 per transaction, totalling $700 in lifetime proceeds.

Following the confession, police operatives rescued the suspect’s four minor children, aged two, three, six, and nine years and recovered sex toys alongside other digital evidence from her residence.

Police authorities stated that investigations have been expanded to identify and track other local and international networks linked to the child pornography ring.

Investigators have also questioned the suspect’s husband, though Onyeanusia maintained that he was unaware of her illicit online activities.

State authorities confirmed that legal teams are concluding charges under the Child Rights Act and relevant cybercrime legislation ahead of the suspect’s court arraignment.
