Zahara, the 21-year-old daughter of Hollywood actors Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt, has filed legal documents to officially remove “Pitt” from her last name.

According to court reports obtained by TMZ, Zahara submitted a petition in Los Angeles requesting to change her legal name from Zahara Jolie-Pitt to Zahara Marley Jolie.

The decision follows previous instances in which she chose not to use her surname publicly. In 2023, she introduced herself as Zahara Marley Jolie during a sorority event at Spelman College. She also reportedly used the shortened name during her college graduation ceremony earlier this year.

Zahara is one of six children belonging to the former couple, who separated in 2016. Other siblings, including Shiloh and Vivienne, have reportedly also dropped their father’s surname in public settings.

Jolie and Pitt married in 2014 after several years together, following their co-starring roles in the film Mr. & Mrs. Smith. Their 2016 separation led to extended legal disputes over custody and asset division.
