The All Progressives Congress (APC) has announced that its national convention will hold between Wednesday, 25th and Saturday, March 28, 2026.
The APC announced this on a post signed by its National Secretary, Senator Ajibola Basiru, on its official X handle on Sunday.
Basiru stated that the announcement was in compliance with provisions of Article 11: A sub-section (i-xi), and Article 17(0) of the party’s constitution.
In the post titled: “Schedule of Activities for 2025/2026 Nationwide Ward, Local Government, State and Zonal Congresses, National Convention and Related Activities,” Basiru disclosed that the zonal congresses of the party will be held on March 21, 2026, across the six geopolitical zones, while state congresses have been scheduled to hold on March 7, 2026.
According to the notice, local government and ward congresses of the ruling party will take place on February 18, and 20, 2026, respectively.
The APC national secretary added that the party’s membership e-registration, which commenced on December 1, 2025, will conclude on January 30, 2026.
