State governors on the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC) and the National Working Committee (NWC) of the party will today Wednesday meet at the party’s national secretariat in Abuja.
Although issues to be discussed at the meeting billed for 12 noon was sketchy at the time of filing this report, LEADERSHIP learnt that the meeting was not unconnected with the grievances arising from the composition of the presidential campaign council of the party.
The meeting will also deliberate on a date for the inauguration of campaign council which was suspended indefinitely following protest that trailed the list of the 422-member campaign council released by its secretary, Hon James Faleke penultimate Friday.
The APC governors had on Tuesday night met with members of the campaign council at Wuse 2 District of Abuja to discuss the modalities for the inauguration and the official flag-off of the APC presidential campaigns.
