APC Has Collapsed In South South – Atiku Campaign

Atiku/Okowa Campaign Organization yesterday declared that All Progressives Congress (APC) has collapsed in the South South geo-political zone.

The campaign stated this against the backdrop of the crowd that attended the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Presidential Campaign Rally in Asaba, Delta State yesterday.

Spokesperson of the Atiku/Okowa Campaign Organization, Kola Ologbondiyan, said the turnout at the rally affirmed the acceptability of the PDP Presidential Candidate, Atiku Abubakar and his running mate Governor Ifeanyi Okowa in Delta State, other States of the South-South and the nation at large.

Ologbondiyan said, “The rally did not only reaffirm the fact that Delta State remains the impregnable stronghold of the PDP but also signals the total collapse of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the geo-political zone.

“The outpouring of solidarity by the people of the South South for the PDP and its Candidates in all the tiers of the 2023 general elections confirms that the PDP remains united, undiminished and even growing stronger in the zone in spite of the unfounded projections of some bookmakers.

“Furthermore, the decamping of the State Secretary of the fizzling and wobbling APC, Otunba Nick Ovuakporie, as well as hordes of other APC members to the PDP signals the collapse of the APC in Delta State and other South South States.

“This daily mass exit from the APC into the PDP, which is also being recorded in other parts of the country, shows that Nigerians, especially APC members, have come to the reality of the vacuity, inadequacies and incompetencies of the APC Presidential Candidate, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, and the futility of his self-centered Presidential ambition.”

“It also shows the fact that Nigerians have also come to the painful reality of the rudderlessness, lying proclivities and manifest failures of the APC and would have nothing to do with this vicious party that has brought so much pains, anguish, anger and untold hardship upon the country. 

“It must be noted that Nigerians have already found in Atiku Abubakar and Ifeanyi Okowa the desired experience, capacity, honesty, competence, readiness and will power to lead our nation out of the abyss of the APC and return her to the path of unity, good governance and happiness for all.

“Our Campaign therefore urges Nigerians to remain united, focused and come out enmasse on February 25 to vote Atiku Abubakar and take all steps necessary within the ambit of democratic setting to defend their votes,” he said.
